Finding the right medication shouldn’t feel like a trial-and-error experiment you have to navigate alone. Whether you are starting medication for the first time or looking to fine-tune a current plan that doesn’t feel quite right, our Nurse Practitioners are here to partner with you. We move away from the "one-size-fits-all" approach to help you find the clarity and calm your brain deserves, without the long wait times.
Medication is a powerful tool, but it works best when it is integrated into a broader understanding of your life. Our Nurse Practitioners specialize in ADHD and understand how medication interacts with your sleep, your mood, and your daily energy levels.
We adjust your medication based on your symptoms and response over time.
Ongoing Monitoring: Your care includes regular clinical touchpoints — scheduled check-ins with your Nurse Practitioner by phone or secure email — to ensure your medication is working effectively and safely.
We coordinate directly with your So You Need Therapy team so your strategies and biology work together.
We offer flexible ADHD medication management designed to evolve with your needs. Whether you were diagnosed at So You Need Therapy, are transitioning care from another provider, or are seeking a second opinion, our team provides a structured and supportive path forward.
Best for: those starting new medication or adjusting dosages.
Includes access to two clinical progress reviews per month with your NP to support medication initiation and early dose adjustments. This tier focuses on finding an effective dose safely while monitoring your response during the stabilization phase.
Option A: 15-minute virtual NP call
Option b: Secure email renewal*.
You can use either option, or both as needed.
Finding the right ADHD medication and dose is often a trial-and-error process, as each person’s brain and biology respond differently. Regular touchpoints during this phase allow your NP to adjust thoughtfully, taking into account genetics, side effects, and effectiveness — so you get the most benefit from your medication.
Starting ADHD medication involves a structured titration phase. CADDRA guidelines recommend beginning at the lowest effective dose and adjusting gradually on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Because stimulant medications can affect heart rate and blood pressure, two monthly clinical touchpoints are required to monitor safety during dose changes. This approach acts as a safety net, helping us find the right dose efficiently while meeting the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) accountability standards for high-risk medications.
Best for: those managing ADHD alongside anxiety or depression, or seeking regular professional reassurance.
Includes access to one clinical progress review per month with your NP to support ADHD alongside anxiety or depression. This tier focuses on maintaining balance while ensuring medication changes do not worsen overlapping symptoms.
Option A: 15-minute virtual NP call
Option b: Secure email renewal*
Choose either option each month.
When ADHD co-exists with anxiety or depression, medication response can be more nuanced and may change over time, as brain chemistry, sensitivity, and stress levels interact differently for each person across different life contexts. Regular reviews provide ongoing professional reassurance, allowing your NP to monitor how medications work together, prioritize the most impairing symptoms, and adjust treatment thoughtfully so care remains balanced and effective.
Ontario practice standards require clinicians to closely monitor overlapping conditions to ensure one treatment does not worsen another. Our structured review schedule aligns with the CNO’s Care Continuity standards, providing consistent oversight and reassurance to support safe medication management and long-term mental health stability.
Best for: those stable on the same medication and dose for at least 3 months.
Includes access to three clinical touchpoints per cycle with your NP to support ongoing medication stability. This tier focuses on long-term maintenance while meeting Ontario requirements for continued monitoring.
Up to 1 clinical touchpoint per 3-month cycle may be a 15-minute virtual NP call.
Up to 2 clinical touchpoints per 3-month cycle may be secure email prescription renewals.
3 touchpoints usable at any time during the cycle.
Once medication stability is reached, Ontario practice standards allow for a transition to maintenance care, focusing on long-term sustainability rather than frequent dose changes. While medication may remain stable, effectiveness can still shift over time with health changes or other factors, which is why ongoing monitoring continues to be important. This plan is structured around a defined care cycle to ensure your NP remains your Prescriber of Record under the Narcotics Monitoring System (NMS). Regular reassessment supports continued safety, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance, while allowing you to access care flexibly and maintain the benefits you’re getting from your medication over the longer term.
This approach provides reassurance that support remains available even when active adjustments are no longer needed.
Best for those who prefer to manage their care on a session-by-session basis.
Every renewal or check-in is handled via a scheduled appointment:
The Process: You book a 15-minute virtual appointment whenever you need a renewal.
The Control: You remain the primary driver of your care schedule.
Since your assessment and history are already on file, you can begin ADHD medication support right away.

Tiers 2 and 3 are structured around 3-month clinical cycles. This billing and review rhythm ensures your NP remains your legal “Prescriber of Record” under the Narcotics Monitoring System (NMS) without interruption.
All tiers follow defined clinical cycles (6 months for Tier 1; 3 months for Tiers 2 and 3) and may be cancelled at any time. If cancelled mid-cycle, used touchpoints are billed at $90 per virtual visit and $45 per secure email renewal. A $90 reinstatement fee applies only if cancelled before completing the cycle.
This subscription applies specifically to ADHD medication management and integrated support for related symptoms. Our standard response time is within 3 days; expedited requests (same-day or under 3 days) are available for $59 and count toward your plan’s touchpoints.

Yes. A formal ADHD diagnosis is required for medication prescribing in Ontario. If you do not yet have an ADHD diagnosis in Toronto, our clinic can support you through a comprehensive assessment process before beginning medication management. Coaching and psychotherapy, however, do not require a diagnosis.
A transfer session is required to safely transition your care and ensure we have the information needed to prescribe responsibly. During this session, our Nurse Practitioner reviews your previous diagnosis documentation (when available), as well as relevant medical history such as blood pressure, cardiac history, sleep, and other factors that may affect medication safety. We also assess your current medication response, including side effects and dosing history, along with any co-occurring concerns such as anxiety or depression that may influence treatment choices and monitoring. Even if your diagnosis is clear, medication management is not “copy and paste.” A transfer session ensures we can make safe prescribing decisions, confirm the plan is appropriate, and establish continuity of care moving forward.
All subscription tiers are structured around defined clinical monitoring cycles to support safe prescribing and continuity of care. While we recommend completing your full cycle (6 months for Tier 1; 3 months for Tiers 2 and 3), you may cancel at any time.
If you cancel before completing your active cycle, any clinical touchpoints used during that cycle will be billed at $90 per virtual visit or $45 per secure prescription renewal, and the remaining subscription balance will be adjusted accordingly.
If you cancel after completing your cycle, no additional fees apply. If you later choose to restart after completing a cycle, no reinstatement fee is required, and your plan will begin as a new clinical cycle.

If you need additional support between scheduled touchpoints, 15-minute NP calls are available for $39 (regularly $90), and secure email renewals are $29. Our standard response time is within 3 days. Expedited requests (same-day or under 3 days) are available for an additional $59 and will count toward your plan’s clinical touchpoints.
